Clinical Examination

A clinical examination enables us to carry out a neurological assessment of the perineum, and also assess the muscles and connective tissue.

The examination is performed with the patient lying in the lithotomy position and, in some cases, standing up.

It is conducted in a safe and comfortable environment.
The clinical examination provides an in-depth understanding of the urogynecological and anorectal function of the perineum, and helps to identify any painful areas.
